I’ve Got a Box of Roads
Finally got around to completing the majority of my HexTech roads. I say majority, because I still have the building structures of the Trinity Tower ramps, and a pair of underground entrances to deal with - however, the road portions of those are also completed.
Not many pictures because the light today is fairly terrible, I can’t find my tripod, and my camera battery is nearly deceased. But here we are.

Also pictured: a smoothing-in-progress HexTech building.
As noted previously, I figure there’s enough grey going on in Battletech cities that I wanted to flock the roadsides. Flock is… Interesting at such a tiny scale. Tried to mix it up a bit, but it’s rather difficult to get it looking good while keeping proper scale. Had to use bog standard fine; and where static grass would’ve normally made sense, it would’ve looked, well, silly here.
As noted by the caption, a HexTech building is also visible here, currently undergoing gap filling and smoothing. This is a single coat of primer and some additional filler, by the way. Did I mention the glory that is Bambu? I am almost certain I have.

Bonus Slime.
Additional shot. The slime (like everything else, in progress, of course) was a lark - I had an unrelated print that needed to happen; I ended up with a tiny amount of filament left on a spool; I decided to print something comparatively small to use it up. The girlfriend of course immediately requested a She-Slime; I realized during the print smoothing that Duplicolor grey was giving me Metal Slime vibes and I should totally do a Metal Slime as well, and… Now I have yet another project in progresss.
Ahem.
I cheated like hell for the road markings. While not pictured here, I literally do have a box of road segments now, and there was no way I was putting my hand through that via brush. Paint markers are magic.
